Kira Hovorukha

Kira began as a make-up artist in 2011. She learned to read proportions, use colour deliberately and preserve individuality. In 2013, she became Ukrainian champion in make-up artistry. She has worked in permanent make-up since 2015. The technique changed, but her starting point did not: first the face and the person, then shape, colour and method.

From 2016 to 2022, Kira led her Brand Studio in Dnipro with a team of ten. Alongside her own treatments, she shaped its processes, service and professional standards. Those years sharpened her view of the whole: the quality of each piece of work, as well as trust, collaboration and a sustainable practice.

Work with more than 6,000 clients and the training of over 1,000 students have shaped Kira’s teaching. She developed training programmes and the ECO BROWS and AIR KISS LIPS techniques — for a natural effect, gentle work and strong healed results. She teaches not only the hand movements, but the judgement behind them: from facial analysis and choices of shape and colour to assessing the healed result. Her experience as a studio owner also informs the Academy.

Kira moved to Germany in 2022 because of the war and rebuilt her work in a new setting. She remained active in the international professional community: at WULOP events in Paris and Germany in 2023, and as a juror and speaker at WULOP Germany in 2025. Today she treats clients and teaches in Hamburg, while developing her work in paramedical pigmentation. The studio and Academy share one standard: listen carefully, decide precisely and take responsibility for the long-term result.
